Description
This lid is laminated with a film that provides a breakable seal on PE (Polyethylene) and HDPE containers. It is assembled to a secondary cardboard seal using a layer of wax and a ventilation membrane. Once the container is sealed, the wax is absorbed by the cardboard and the two seals separate so that the cardboard seal can serve as a hermetic seal after the first use of the product.
